Fujairah on December 12/ WAM/ under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, witnessed the celebration organized by the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
His Highness Crown Prince of Fujairah stressed the pivotal role played by Chambers of Commerce and Industry in developing the business sector in the country and supporting its economic growth, pointing to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, a member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah, to enable competitive elements of the business environment and attract global investments, which contributes to the economic vision of the country and supports its overall development.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Sharqi, President of the Emirates Federation of Body Building and Physical Strength, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Sharqi, and Sheikh Saeed bin Srour Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
His Highness Crown Prince of Fujairah honored the strategic partners of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry from government institutions and private sector companies whose contributions have played a key role in implementing the chamber's initiatives and projects, as well as the presidents, members of successive board members and directors of the Chamber during 14 previous sessions.
Sheikh Saeed bin Srour Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, a member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah, for his guidance and keenness to facilitate business practices and development in the emirate, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for his support and follow-up to the chamber's projects and economic activities.
Sultan Al Hindasi, General Manager of Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reviewed the chamber's progress in four decades since its founding, and its most important vital projects, local, regional and international achievements in the field of food security, entrepreneurship, real estate, and industrial investment.
The ceremony included an operetta for the 50th Anniversary of the Union of the State and included a screening of a documentary film about the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Fujairah, its career and its contributions to supporting the pillars of the emirate's development and serving the business community over the past 40 years.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, a number of directors and officials in Fujairah, and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the UAE, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Federation of Arab Chambers.
