Fujairah on February 29 / WAM / Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Authority for Culture and Information in Fujairah witnessed yesterday evening the concert performed by Arab artist Mohammed Abdo at the Grand Corniche Theater on Fujairah Beach, at the end of the events of the Fujairah International Arts Festival in its third edition in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif al-Sharqi.
The audience enjoyed a variety of famous and beloved songs by the singer Mohammed Abdo, which varied between old and new. He expressed his happiness to participate in this great festival, which is a great artistic and cultural event that brought together all kinds of arts on one land, which gave him the opportunity to meet his fans who came from long distances.
Mohammed Saif Al-Afkham, General Manager of Fujairah International Arts Festival, said: "For nine days, Fujairah has had nights of fun and evening, full of music, monodrama theatre, popular performances, concerts, heritage and exhibitions from around the world, which have been well received. The admiration of large numbers of visitors to the festival, including Emirati and Arab families, and foreign tourists, who formed a remarkable presence.
Al Afkham hold his highest verses of thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah for his generous patronage of the festival, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed al-Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad al-Sharqi for his continuous follow-up to the festival since His Highness had a great impact on its success and development.
He expressed his thanks to the members of the High Committee and the sub-committees who spared no effort in providing all the possibilities that contributed to the success of the festival events that befits its name and international reputation. He explained that the festival hosted more than 700 people from 60 countries.
