Cairo, May 21 (WAM) - His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met with His Excellency Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Egyptian Minister of Culture, at the Egyptian National Library and Archives Museum. His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah stressed the importance of preserving human heritage in all its forms and the necessity of passing it on to generations. He highlighted the Emirate of Fujairah's commitment to preserving and disseminating cultural heritage through unique cultural and artistic initiatives and projects.
His Highness and the Egyptian Minister of Culture exchanged views on various cultural topics, areas of cooperation between the Emirate of Fujairah and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and prospects for artistic and cultural exchange that contribute to developing cultural work between the two sides.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah also toured the National Library and Archives Museum and listened to an explanation from Dr. Osama Talaat about its details and the rare artifacts, manuscripts, and historical documents it contains in various sciences, knowledge, and arts of human heritage, embodying successive historical eras.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the museum's management, which represents a significant milestone in preserving heritage and providing opportunities for researchers and interested parties to view these historical treasures. His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and His Excellency Hamdan Karam, Director of the Private Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
