Fujairah on April 7 (WAM) The E-Government of Fujairah signed a joint cooperation agreement with Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, providing technical support for the electronic and smart services provided by the Chamber to its customers.
This comes as Fujairah Chamber strives to achieve its strategic objectives of accelerating the digital transformation of its services to its members in order to achieve their aspirations and develop a business environment that serves the emirate's national economy.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Sharqi, Director of the Department of E-Government in Fujairah, and Sheikh Saeed bin Srour Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of His Excellency Mosabah Mohammed Obaid Al-Mazroui and Tarek Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Hinai, members of the Chamber's Board of Directors and Sultan Jumaie Al Hindasi, General Manager of the Chamber.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Sharqi said after the signing that the supervisory role played by the Department in developing strategies that guide and control the government's path towards implementing the smart government initiative in Fujairah comes within the framework of our future plan for the Emirate to enable cooperation and interdependence between government agencies in the emirate. He stressed that this agreement is an additional step in the strategy to ensure the sustainability of the high performance of common services in general and some services for government agencies with which we sign this type of agreement specifically, allowing it to continue its work in accordance with the best international standards followed.
Sheikh Saeed bin Srour Al Sharqi welcomed the signing of the agreement and considered that cooperation between the two sides will be in the interest of serving the business community and will affect the customer, speed up business transactions, and enhance customer satisfaction.
H.E. Sultan Jumaie Al Hindasi confirmed that the agreement comes within the framework of developing the chamber's partnerships with government agencies, with the aim of upgrading the level of services provided by the Chamber to its customers and ensuring high quality results, and achieving the optimal use of government resources to perpetuate the process of excellence and leadership in the Emirate.
