Fujairah on October 13, WAM, Fujairah E-Government is working on vital projects in the IT sector that serve all entities of the Emirate's government, such as the Corporate Resources Management Database Project for the Financial Sector and Human Resources, under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Sharqi, Head of the Fujairah E-Government Department.
The Department is implementing the project of e-mail correspondence for the Government of Fujairah, in order to preserve the confidentiality and security of data through the establishment of electronic platforms for many entities in the Government of Fujairah in addition to the digital payment platform, which is a digital platform that allows customers of the Government of Fujairah to pay their services provided by the government through the application of smartphones and the website besides the unified portal of services, an absolute initiative of the Government of the United Arab Emirates to have an electronic platform in each emirate and this platform includes all local government services for it.
The continuation of electronic and digital transformation in government work is monitored by equipping it in several successive stages, such as equipping the digital payment platform, then switching services to digital services and placing them on a unified portal that brings together all the services of the Fujairah government.
The qualification of the cadres to keep up with the technological development is carried out by participating in workshops and regular meetings with government and private sectors in the fields of technology. While taking into account the testing of the effectiveness of programs through the passage of programs in two stages after implementation, which is the test to examine any errors or technical problems in the programs and the second stage is evaluation by measuring the satisfaction of customers and standing at any addition or development that the program may need.
The use of Artificial Intelligence technology in business and government services is one of the future projects of the government where the current services of local authorities in the Government of Fujairah are studied and converted into full digital services 100% to help the customer in completing all his transactions without reviewing the concerned authority of the service.
